Welcome to the GeoCraft Development Wiki
This wiki contains content produced by developers. The main web site is at http://geocraft.org
Development Status
GeoCraft is currently at version 0.7.10 and is still rapidly evolving as we work towards stable version 1.0 release.
Why did we decide to release it before we got to a stable 1.0 version? Because, on previous open source projects we learned that it is extremely hard to go through a working code base and separate out the proprietary code. It is not just a matter of moving source code around, there are business issues and intellectual property considerations.
We don't recommend that you try and build production quality plugins and extensions using the framework today. If you are interested in implementing new algorithms and can handle developing on top of an evolving application programming interface (API), then we would love to get your feedback.
