The World Population clock Applet continuously displays the current estimated world population using data from the US census bureau. You are free to add this clock to your own website. The jar file needs to be refreshed from time to time with new data from the US census people. That is my job. Yours is to download and install new versions of the program as they become available. If you are curious how it works, or want to create similar programs, the source code is included for you to study and modify for any purpose but military. To install the clock on your own website, put the population.jar file on your website in the same directory as the page where you want to show the clock. Then insert the following markup where you want the clock to appear. Sorry, you need Java 1.5 or later to run this Applet. You can change the colour schemes, fonts, wordings etc. by modifying the source code in Population.java. That requires at least beginner programming skill.
